ChannelEngine Orders Sync for WooCommerce is a free ChannelEngine WooCommerce integration for merchants who sell on Amazon, bol, Zalando, Otto, Walmart or any of the 700+ channels connected through ChannelEngine — and want every one of those orders handled in WooCommerce.
It does one job and does it properly: marketplace orders come in as native WooCommerce orders, are acknowledged back to ChannelEngine, and shipments, cancellations and stock stay in sync. Your catalogue and listings stay in ChannelEngine, where they belong.
The problem it solves
ChannelEngine is excellent at publishing a catalogue to dozens of marketplaces. The part that stays awkward for WooCommerce merchants is the return trip: getting orders from all those channels into the shop’s back office, confirming them in time, and reporting shipments so each marketplace sees the tracking.
Official connectors are often built for large catalogue syncs and can be heavy on a WooCommerce site. This plugin is orders-first and lightweight — it touches orders, shipments and stock, and nothing else.
How it works
- In ChannelEngine, go to Settings → Merchant API keys and create a key.
- In WooCommerce, enter your tenant name and the API key under WooCommerce → ChannelEngine Sync, then press Test connection.
- New marketplace orders are imported every 15 minutes and acknowledged to ChannelEngine straight away.
- Complete an order and the shipment with carrier and tracking goes back; stock is pushed every hour, matched by SKU.

- Imports marketplace orders — Every 15 minutes, as native WooCommerce orders — lines matched by SKU, addresses, shipping costs, currency and taxes.
- Acknowledges orders — Confirms each imported order to ChannelEngine, as the Merchant API requires.
- Pushes shipments — Carrier and tracking number are sent when an order reaches the status you choose.
- Pulls cancellations — If a marketplace cancels, the WooCommerce order is cancelled and annotated.
- Hourly stock push — WooCommerce stock levels go to ChannelEngine, matched by SKU; out-of-stock products push zero.
- Knows the channel — Every order records the originating channel (Amazon.de, Bol.com, Zalando…) and the channel’s own order number.
- VAT done right — Handles VAT-inclusive and exclusive marketplace prices, with optional tax recalculation using your WooCommerce tax settings.
- Marketplace-fulfilled orders excluded — FBA-style orders are imported for your records but never get shipment pushes.
Why merchants pick it over a heavy connector
It writes nothing but orders, order notes and stock, so it can’t overwrite your product catalogue. It is HPOS-native, uses the WooCommerce CRUD API throughout, runs on Action Scheduler with a WP-Cron fallback, handles zero-total orders and HTML in product titles, and stores the API key encrypted — never in the log. No data goes anywhere except the ChannelEngine API.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my ChannelEngine tenant name?
It is the first part of your ChannelEngine URL. If you log in at acme.channelengine.net, your tenant is acme.
How are products matched?
By SKU — the WooCommerce SKU must equal the Merchant Product Number you send to ChannelEngine. Unmatched lines are imported as placeholders with a warning note.
Which marketplaces does it cover?
Whatever you have connected in ChannelEngine — Amazon, bol, Zalando, Otto, Kaufland, Walmart, Cdiscount and hundreds more. The plugin talks to ChannelEngine, not to each marketplace.
Will it create duplicate orders?
No. Every import is keyed on the ChannelEngine order ID.
My marketplace prices exclude VAT — is that supported?
Yes. Choose whether marketplace prices include tax, and optionally let WooCommerce recalculate taxes.
