Bol.com Orders Sync for WooCommerce is a free bol.com WooCommerce integration — a bol.com koppeling that brings your bol orders into the store you already run. bol is the largest marketplace in the Netherlands and Belgium, and if you sell there alongside your own WooCommerce shop, this plugin removes the double work.

Open bol orders arrive as native WooCommerce orders every 15 minutes. When you ship, the plugin creates the shipment on bol with the right transporter code and tracking number; when you cancel, it cancels the order items with a proper reason code; every hour it pushes your stock to bol. Orders, shipments and stock — no middleware subscription.

The problem it solves

Running a webshop and a bol account side by side means living in two dashboards. Orders have to be copied, shipments registered twice, and stock corrected by hand after every sale. Miss a shipment registration and bol counts it against your delivery performance; oversell and you pay for the cancellation.

With this koppeling, bol orders are simply WooCommerce orders. Pack them with the tools you already use, mark them completed, and bol is updated for you.

How it works

1. In the bol Seller Dashboard, open Instellingen → Diensten → API Instellingen and create Client Credentials for the Retailer API.
2. Paste the Client ID and Client Secret into WooCommerce → bol.com Sync and press Test connection.
3. Open orders are imported every 15 minutes — FBR, FBB or both, as you choose.
4. Complete the order and the shipment is created on bol with transporter and tracking. Stock is pushed every hour.

• Imports open bol orders — Every 15 minutes, as native WooCommerce orders with line items, prices, shipping and billing addresses and the pickup-point flag.
• Sensible product matching — On your offer reference (usually your SKU) first, then on EAN.
• Shipments with transporter codes — When an order reaches your chosen status, a bol shipment is created with the transporter code and tracking number. PostNL, DHL, DPD, bpost, UPS, FedEx and GLS are mapped automatically, and tracking from popular shipment-tracking plugins is picked up.
• Item cancellations — Cancel in WooCommerce and the order items are cancelled on bol with the reason code you choose.
• Customer cancellation requests flagged — Requests are noted on import so you see them before you ship.

• Sync log, status screen and dashboard widget — Readable bol violations errors instead of bare status codes.

Token caching that keeps your IP safe

bol issues very short-lived access tokens (about five minutes) and warns that requesting one per API call can get your server’s IP banned. This plugin caches the token and reuses it until just before it expires, refreshing transparently on a 401. It sends bol’s versioned media type (application/vnd.retailer.v10+json), honours Retry-After, runs on Action Scheduler with a WP-Cron fallback, is HPOS-native, and stores the Client Secret encrypted.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between FBR and FBB?

FBR (fulfilled by retailer) orders are the ones you pack and ship yourself — usually what you want to import. FBB (fulfilled by bol) orders ship from bol’s warehouse. You can import either or both.

How are bol products matched to WooCommerce?

On the offer reference you set on the bol offer (usually your SKU), then on EAN. Unmatched items are imported as placeholder lines with a warning note.

Can I choose the transporter per order?

Yes. Set a default in settings and override it on the order edit screen. Codes for PostNL, DHL, DPD, bpost, UPS, FedEx and GLS are included.

Will it create duplicate orders?

No. Imports are keyed on the bol order ID.

Is it a full bol.com koppeling for listings?

No — it is orders-first by design. Listing and content management stay in the bol Seller Dashboard.
