Size Chart for WooCommerce lets apparel, footwear and accessories stores create unlimited size guides and attach them to specific products or categories. Modal popup or inline display, tabbed multi-region charts (US/EU/UK), and full HTML/image support for measurement diagrams — the size chart is one of the highest-impact tools for reducing apparel returns.
I built this for stores where the right size chart is the difference between a kept item and a return. The plugin handles the chart-management UI, the per-product attachment, the multi-region tabs and the modal display logic so merchants can ship size guides without writing markup.
The problem it solves
Sized-product returns are the single largest cost on apparel and footwear stores. A clear, accessible size chart on the product page is one of the few interventions that meaningfully reduces them. WooCommerce ships with no native size-chart concept, leaving merchants to hack one into product descriptions — inconsistent, unmaintainable and easy to forget.
The plugin gives merchants a structured size-chart library with per-product or per-category attachment and a consistent display surface across the catalog.
What the plugin does
A complete size-chart engine for WooCommerce apparel and footwear stores:
- Unlimited size guides — create as many charts as the catalog needs
- Attach to specific products — apparel-specific, footwear-specific, accessory-specific guides
- Attach to entire categories — one chart applies to every product in a category
- Modal popup or inline display — choose the display mode per chart
- Tabbed multi-region charts — US, EU, UK and custom regions in one chart
- HTML and image support — embed measurement diagrams alongside size tables
- Custom button styling and placement — chart trigger button matches the storefront brand
- Translatable chart content — multi-language stores get localised size guides
How it is built
Size charts are a custom post type with a rich-text editor and structured table builder, attached to products through product meta and to categories through term meta. The product-page integration hooks into woocommerce_single_product_summary with configurable priority so merchants can place the chart trigger button exactly where it belongs in the product summary. The modal uses a lightweight vanilla-JS implementation rather than pulling in a heavy modal library, keeping front-end performance intact.
The plugin is HPOS-compatible at the order layer, fully translatable, and ships with sensible defaults so merchants get a functional size chart on the first install without configuration.
Marketplace adoption
A 4.7-star rating across 8 reviews on the official WooCommerce Marketplace reflects the kind of plugin apparel merchants depend on quietly. The customer base is fashion, footwear and accessories stores where reducing returns directly improves margin.
